I need some advice on what valve springs to buy for my 484ci Hemi, I have heard good things about PAC springs but I have no idea where to start.

Comp cam solid roller
Intake 268* @ .050” & .645 valve lift with stock 1.57 wide pad rockers
Exhaust 264* @ .050” & .621 valve lift with stock 1.52 wide pad rockers
Lobe separation 110

Mopar dual plug ally heads Casting # 3614433

Factory wide pad rockers

Factory titanium retainers

SS valves 2.25” & 1.94”

I would like to know what else I will need as well such as lash caps, spring locators etc

This Hemi will go in my Pro Stock style street/strip '70 Barracuda

Thanks in advance.

First thing is to select a set of springs that will fit your retainers, inner, outers annd dampener, if wanted on the dampener. I don't recommend dampeners on Ti retainers Second thing is to figure out the intsalled hieght and how much lift you have at the retainers and what size spring cups or spring locators will fit your valve guides and springs Once you have those measuremts you can call PAC and see if they have a spring set and locattors that will work for your application, I suggest at least 250 lbs. seat pressure or more and what ever coil bind hieght you need to get the springs within .060 to .100 of coil bind at full lift

Thanks, that is some good info that I can work with.

Can I get opinions on these three things so I know if they are good or bad with my setup above considering this car will have to be able to do a 500 mile trip if required but usually no more than 2,ooo miles per year.

Lash caps - good/bad
Titainium retainers - good/bad
Beehive springs - good/bad

Thanks again.

If your using valves that don't have harden tip use lash caps Titainum retainers are good, I use to use them on all my roller cam motors I nowe use and recommend tool steel retainers, they are a little bit heavier but the dampener springs, if your using them, won't eat or go through the tool steel retainers I have seen them and heard of them eating through both Titainum and chrome moly steel retainers I have not used any of the Beehive springs so no input on them, sorry

I will measure my spring height, valve guides, retainers & supply it along with the Comp cams reccomended spring rates to PAC to see what they have to offer.
