dragracedr OP member D Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 178 Suffolk,VA	Does anyone reproduce a V-8 centerlink for 63-65 A-bodies or know the mods necesssry to a S6 link for LA V-8 to S6 swap? i don't mind cutting and welding the S6 link but would prefer a solid piece.

B5 Bee master Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 8,020 Pangaea	There wasn't a '63 V8 centerlink as there was no V8 A body in '63. The '64-'65 V8 centerlink may be a little hard to find, but a '66 centerlink isn't. For '66, the slant six link was discontinued and all '66 A bodies used the V8 link.

It's hard to say what was changed on cars over the years but I did a V-8 swap on a '65 Barracuda years ago and didn't have to change the centerlink because it already had the V-8 centerlink but did a V-8 swap on my '66 Valiant recently and had to change the centerlink to a V-8 centerlink.
