Hey Everybody,

I just spent the better part of the day taking out the innards of my passenger door. Just doing one door at a time. It was rattling pretty hard to begin with and I am going to put some sound deadener in to hopefully quite my ride a little. Also the felts/ cat whiskers were in pretty bad shape, hinges were shot, and the power motor just burned out. There are a couple small items that I am looking for that either broke, were terribly corroded, or just missing:

1) The square rubber stops that keep the door from over closing.
2) A plastic ring that goes between the lock tumbler and door.
3) Screws that mount the door actuator.
4) Crisscross wire fasteners that mount the bottom panel to the door.
5) Push in fasteners that mount the upper door panel. These guys are shaped like a "U" and the vertical parts expand outward to fasten the panel to the door.

Has anybody fixed an upper door panel by re-attaching the pop fasteners? Did you epoxy it?

6) Also looking for the white trim snaps that attach the vinyl trim edges to the car.

I'll take a stab at it since no one else has.
I'd look at R/T Specialties (http://www.rtspecialties.net/) or any one of the board sponsors. Many of them should have most of what you are looking for.

I have been shopping around for replacement locks just to see if they have the spacers... and it seems like they are not used. Do people usually mount the tumbler metal on metal?

I'd check with Jim Filmore(?) of DMT (Detroit Muscle Technologies, LLC.). He seems to have those lock gaskets included in a number of paint gasket sets. After a quick look it seems he has the early 70's A bodies(including 73-74), E-bodies(thru 74), and the 71-72 charger paint gasket kits. He also has MOPAR 66-72 Small Lock Gasket Barracuda Charger. I'd just call and see what he has. He also has an e-bay store(http://stores.ebay.com/Detroit-Muscle-Technologies-LLC).
