After many years my gold box went bad. I had the matching blast resistor & coil.Thinking about putting A orange box on ,do I need to change the resistor& coil

My Gold box lasted just a brief time being raced. Might have been too much time idling in the pits tho & I dont remember what coil/ballast I used at the time. I would highly suggest something other than the orange box, too many reported issues in alot (but not all) of the newer orange boxes plus it is pricey for what you get. To answer your Q what coil/ballast do you have (ohms)
