Whats up with dodge and the p440,p441 code?
My wife has a 2002 intrepid 55,000 miles never beaton always serviced .I looked everywhere for a vacuum leak and foune nothing.My 04 ram hemi just came up with the same code 30,000 mile .Both car seviced to what the manual says for severe serviced.
Just maybe a little help I know you cant diag.over the computer.Thanks in advance.

I think thats for an evap system leak. Check all ruuber hoses carefully. Especially at the ends where they are prone to cracking.

ran into some bad purge valves and leak detection pumps but i believe the hoses are most likley

I havent ck anything yet .I can see something going bad on my wifes car but my ram 30,000 miles that sound like dodge has a problem with their parts .

I ck under the truck today at work all looked good from gas cap to firewall but I didnt look under the hood yet.Is there anyway to test the gas cap or do I just replace it ? My wife put a new cap on without me knowing she told me she got it from the zone so its prob junk.

Try owning a SAAB, I replace prolly 4-6 gas caps a week. Federal emmisions laws have things pretty tightly restricted for allowable leakage. You truck should be warranteed let the garage hook it to the leak detector and figure it out. My money says either gas cap or LDP.
