Was an 8 3/4 rear offered behind a small block or /6 904 in a 68 Dart?

The 8 3/4 could have been in any '68 Dart. In the case of 340 cars, it was there for performance durability. In the case of the mundane slant six and 318 cars, it was part of the towing package along with a HD radiator and 7 blade fan.

My college car was a 68 Dart GT convertible with a 318 727 and 8-3/4, is was a tow package car. I sold it to the Umbrella People who sell Mopar swag at the big Mopar shows. It is now white with a blue interior and crossram 340.

Yes we ordered a 71 Dart & it was eqipped w/a 8 3/4 3.23 sure grip. Slant 6 225, auto, front manual disk brakes. Wished we would have kept that one. Sure would have made a great race car looking back on it now. See ya, Ken
