On my 70 Roadrunner front bench seat - aren't the center belts (the ones attaching to the tunnel) supposed to go THRU the lower seat upholstery as opposed to just lying on top of it? The belts have a plastic grommet bezel thing and I'm about ready to stick a knife thru the new seat cover but... I'm sure someone here has an answer and/or photo to help me out. Thanks in advance... mikemee1331 master M Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 4,154 bethlehem pa	on my 69 the belts just lay between the bench and the back (correct??) i believe on a 70 they went through it and there are plastic oval pieces that cover the slit.

True , most the cars I parted were 68/9 , I did do a low mileage 70 but don't remember if it was or not .
