Does anyone know what the product name is for a sound deadening mat that is blue\denim in color with a one sided foil type backing? I its used allot in audio type work. Needing some before I lay in the carpet on the RR.

Or know of a cheap, but similar material?

Thanks
Chris

Go to a mobile home supply and get roof flashing, almost like dynomat but a roll that is 3ft by so many yards is less than a hundred dollars. Can do a lot of cars with that.

I've read pro's and con's on the Lowes product. Mainly an odor issue...like tar or something.

I helped my brother encase the whole outside of his basement with a thick stick on membrane. Man was that stuff sticky.

I did find this while surfing. Price is bit higher, but you get allot of it.

Thanks for the link, it also looks like a good place to start.

I did a bunch of research on this a while back and ended up getting the RAAM stuff plus the ensolite. I wanted a butyl based product as opposed to the asphalt stuff. The RAAM was the best bang for the buck I and I was really happy with it.
