How are you going to keep everything tight while the resin dries ???

By yourself some thin stainless wire at any hardware store and wrap off the ends with it. It's neat and won't rust off. Use wire ties to temporarily hold things in place. In fact, you can leave the ties there and they'll just melt off.

What's the purpose of the wrap ... to hold in heat or keep temps in the engine compartment down? Whatever, on a street car wrap is pointless as the heat will eventually (quickly) soak through the wrap and you're right back at square one. Furthermore, from experience, the wrap will SIGNIFICANTLY shorten the life of the headers - not only does the wrap hold in moisture which will promote rusting, the higher temps will cause the headers to become brittle and crack.

Kinda goofy, but how about a worm-drive hose clamp?

Wear eye protection when working overhead with that stuff. I got a piece imbedded in my eye and didn't know about it until the eye doctor saw it during an exam and removed it.
