This is for the guy's running a dommy carb, what are your jetting your's at, I have a friend who wanted me to freshen up his spare, he told me to put it on mine, and see what the car would do with it on there, I have a 950 carb now, but have everything, to swap it out, and was just wondering how everyone has their carbs jetted, my engine is not much so I don't know how the big carb is gonna do on it but it beats having to buy one to try, and find out it won't work, so how about a little help ???????????
Thanks Dave

I try to start w/stock jetting and tune from there and my 8082-3 hp 1050 came w/84`s ft. and rr and after my wide band tuning(which I highly recommend)it`s at 84`s ft. w/a 3.5 pv and 94`s rr w/ no pv and .028 squirters. My idle bleeds are 71`s my high speed bleeds are 28`s and I restricted the transfer slot channel from .089 down to .055 and it idles and runs better than ever............

I'm pretty sure my 8896 has 94 squared in my gas one and I'm sure that I have 94 squared in my E-85 dom but with different bleeds which is nice because I didnt have to buy a complete set of jets for the E-85 carb

ok guy's been a little busy, sorry I haven't gotten back before now, the carb # is 9377-2, which I think is 1150 3 circuit carb it has 96 jets front and back, and no pv provisions, the bleeds are 26 40 and 60's, this is a dadgum big carb compared to what I have always fooled with, I am going to have to get some fuel bowl plugs, to plug up one side of the fuel bowl feeds, he loaned them to a racer at the track awhile back, and hasn't gotten them back, so it will be a few days before I can try it to see how it goes, I'm sure it is gonna be way to much for me, but you never know till you try.
I am gonna knock the jets down to somewhere around 84's or 85's and go from there.
Thanks Dave

Leave the jets alone until you try it especailly drive it at the track or on the street You may need to open the intermediate air bleed some if the weather or air density is good , I did My 9375-2 HP work fine in the bad air but when the air got better it started bogging bad on the starting line, I switch the intermediate bleed form a #63 to a #76, I think, that fixed it I recently switch the IB to .096 based on the wide ban readings at part throttle cruise BTW, I also had to put in .120 needles and seats to prevent it going lean in the last 1/8 mile IHTHs
