Is it worth the extra $$$ over poly backed?
Is it more difficult to install?
TIA,
Dallas

I purchased it about 6 months ago for my Challenger.

EXCELLENT fit. It feels more like factory carpet, not flimsy at all.
The molded fit is retained very well durring shipping. I took out of the box and laid it out for a couple days. I had to put a heavier small box on top of the heel pad to make it flatten out.

It is harder to cut, you will need to use a box cutter knife to get leverage, holding a razor blade it difficult.

I basically dropped the back section in, trimmed to fit and NO GLUE.
Same for the front, NO GLUE.
For the most part, it can be dropped in and then use the seats to hold in place.
I have been driving the car now for a while and no carpet slippage anywhere.
If your car is an automatic you may need to do a small amount of jute stuffing around the tranny tunnel. Since the carpet is stiffer, it is not as forgiving when streching to the outer sides is concerned.

I would give it a solid 9+ - will use it anytime I do carpeting in my cars.

Got me a NEW Project
1970 GTX 440+6, 4 spd, 4.10 Dana and N96 FE5 (top/bottom) and black bucket interior.
Original transmission and Dana - Engine is a service replacement block.

Body has all stamped #s + VIN/TRIM tag and door sticker. Been hunting like all hell to find the Build Sheet.

I neglected to mention that it is for my nephew's Shelby CSX. I noticed the original backing on his carpet is much heavier than it was on the replacement carpet I have used in the older cars. Here's a pic of his carpet.

I was looking at it on www.stockinteriors.com . For his car the cost is $55 more plus a little more for shipping.

Thanks for the input,
Dallas
