still has a soft tune but i think it's getting closer to where it needs to be. should go 3.9X with just tuning and suspension. the boost is not maxed out yet. too bad it's not in a Mopar but what can you do.

How's Jimmy doing and what is he up to? The last picture I saw of the car it didn't have anything sticking up out of the hood. I miss seeing his posts.

I haven't talked to Jimmy in a very long time. I do hope he's doing well though.

Congrats Dan!

I still have 2 complete fresh 451s"!

You do need some pretty big you know what's to drop the hammer on one.
My heart is POUNDING in this picture right before a run. I've been 3.7s in the eigth and 5.49 264 mph

Good for you, Dan!! Play your cards right, and you could be the next Austin Coil, but then you'd have to trade your cigs for a toothpick.

My hat's off to you and anyone else that drives those machines. i've never been faster than 7.91 and that got my adrenaline going.
after the neck injuries i'm perfectly content to just build them and let the owners and drivers have their fun.

I think everybody here was rooting for that dart. I think most folks have fantasized about a roots blown hemi or 440 making seven or eight hundred horses. Here's a guy going way above and beyond that, and letting us all in on the process, including rising like a phoenix from the ashes of a fire badder than ever.

It's kinda disappointing to not get to see the car travel the country whoopin butt. Just a few nasty youtube videos. I don't know the whole story, nor is it really any of my business I guess. I will say I often enjoy making stuff almost more than using it and I enjoyed following the blown dart posts.

I like hearing any motor run and I respect anyone who turns a wrench on any brand, but it seems kinda funny parting out that motor to make winning GM products.

Great job!

Isn't he going with a twin turbo set up? Also, the engine that the blower is on, is that a Hemi? It mentions something about an Olds block?

KB Block, Olds Pro Stock bolt pattern heads. I think Alan Johnson makes the heads.

I thought I once saw a KB fuel block on here that was an "Olds" block but looked exactly like a hemi, even had an Olds insignia on it
