What besides shoe polish is a good non permanent way to write dial-in and car #s these days? I seem to remember they had an issue with me using regular white shoe polish last year. I dont get out much can ya tell.

Dial Rite is good stuff. Dries dark enough to see but can be totally cleaned off in seconds. Only about 6 bucks too.

You can buy dial in boards with suction cup pretty cheap at Summit or Jegs. I have one, and I will never use shoe polish again, changing dial ins in between rounds is much easier, and its also faster for making those last second dial in adjustments. Just something to think about.

I buy mine at Summit but I'm only about 5 miles from the store. I would think most tracks have something similar in their store.
