Mine is mounted like DusterDave posted. Mine clips at the top with the factory type seat belt buckle. No generic GM crap in my car. LOL

Mine is mounted with 3 pieces of steel tubing welded to the chassis and the same GM seat belt type lock... the rod on the bottom has clips to keep it in place and the top rear I slide the rod(with the net on it) into the tubing and latch the front.... one of these days I'll change it and use a heim joint on the top rear so it swings down
