Has anyone done this type of exhaust on an A body? Curious as to the noise/smell/resonance difference between standard over the axle system as a comparison.

I too would like to see this, as I am about to hit the 'button' from Accurate and order up the parts.

Earlier in the year I had a Moparts Member send me pics of his charger with the T/A/AAR exhaust.

It looked real nice.

So here is a bump for the both of us!

For a while back in college, I had a super cheapo side-exit exhaust on my 74 Swinger... collectors from the Hooker fenderwell headers, to an H-pipe, in to tiny mufflers, then a 45* out to the side in front of the rear wheel openings. It was kind of loud, but I blame crappy mufflers for most of that. I don't remember any sort of exhaust smell problem, but maybe those brain cells got killed off. Could have been the beer, too...

I'd say you wouldn't have any problems with factory-type parts, or with any of those cool squished ovals from Dr.Gas...

There are lots of options, just kicking a few around. I have gotten a taste of quiet this year with only 1/2 the car dynomated, as well as changing out the solid roller for a hydraulic roller.

I just did this, and I love it!

The sound of the mufflers may turn some people off, but it is alot better than my old system.

Definately quieter, even though they are where they are.

It even makes the car look better!

Glad I did it when I did it. Our lowly CDN dollar is barely .81 Add in exchange, and it's close to 1.25 CDN for 1 US dollar.
