From what I have seen and learned,that this plate is a '71 and up.On a '70 only plate,the outside edges were bent the other way,in towards the tail panel.After Chrysler discovered the sharp edge was dangerous they changed the design to this.Anyone confirm this?

If this info is correct that means you could get this plate on a late built 1971 model..

My 71 cuda had the 70 style bracket/plate originalbut it had bad galvanizing..So i bought this one in the picture instead.. That why im intrested to know.Until i find a good 70 style bracket again i will hold on to this.
