I'm trying to down size some stuff and found that I have two power steering boxes in the garage. One has what looks like Q-2267282 cast into the housing with an R5 below that and another cast number of 5 1 1 1. The second box looks like a G-2267262 with another cast number below that of 1 68. I suppose the Q could really be a G, though its pretty hard to tell. Any idea on the application? What about the dates? I'm trying to figure out what one I should keep for the 70 Challenger I have.

Thanks.

the original PS box on my 69 Coronet R/T is G2267262 and has the 1-68 as well. believe the 68 is for 1968. also has a 10-21. my thought was this was the cast date 10-21-68 since my SPD was 12-3-68. there is also a 4 digit date code up near the aluminum fitting for the low pressure hose (small numbers may be buried under gunk). mine was 3178 (317th day of 68) again SPD was 12-3-68.
