I have a 71 duster with a 408 used for street and strip. What intake do I need? It has eddy heads and a comp 284H cam. I have 4.10 gears and a 3800 converter, I shift at 5400. Also is a 750 carb enough or too much?

M-1 single plane or RPM air gap. 750 carb is the SMALLEST Id use.

You've got enough converter to run a single plane like an M1 or Weiand X-cellerator but I'll bet the car/combo will still et better using a performer RPM or RPM air gap intake. Your right on the cusp but the cam lift duration is fairly mild so I''d stick with the dual plane

I've been in the 10.8's with a 750dp and an Air-gap....not saying a 750 is optimal, but it will work.
