Tried my new motor out last weekend and was a little disappointed. I had severe traction problems and ran a best of 6.84 at 102 with a 1.64 60 ft. It seemed to be laying down at the top end. I think I need to upgrade my fuel system.
I did some carb tuning and some adjustments on my Caltrack bars and got a new best last night, 6.55 at 105 with a 1.45 60 ft. Still need to upgrade fuel system. Maybe there are some 6.40s in it. A lot happier than I was last week. Thanks.....

Sucks that i had to miss it, at least now you know that it was more of a track prep issue than your setup, maybe its time to pull the drag radials and throw the W's on it, eliminate the traction problems so you can focus on getin the tune right then work on the setup for the drag radials.

I read on another post that someone had the same sputtering or running out of fuel not sure which and he said that he upped his jets in the rear and it stopped the problem. Has anyone else done this before and had success ? I think I am going to try this at T&T this week end . I might just need to upgrade my fuel pump.
