What block to replace my broke x block, R3 or XR 1 ?
Needs to be able to start out with a 4.185 bore with room for some clean ups if needed in the future. How much am I looking at after all machine work $4000.00 more or less?

Thanks
Al

You can option Ritter's block closer to what you need and probobly for less money. Now just put a big crank in that thing, since your car is all new looking. Good to see you back out.

Are you interested in saving weight or making HP?

Thanks for asking:
Totally lose weight!! The benefit would be greater,
But iam pretty sure you can get more out of the horsepower theoretically, even my hart Will tank me IF i loose some weight..

Somebody just told me that Jegs has 2 siamese Resto Blocks. The price is probably more than 3k with a 4.175 rough bore, but I also was told they are shipping them for free. I think one of them may be listed Ebag.-Randy
