No tolls my way. Back roads every chance I get. 1hr drive each way, or 1/4 tank of diesel ($30), 5-6 gal of premium 93 for the race car, generator, 4 wheeler ($30), Track entry fee, $25, so I would say, right around $100...

I've never understood why the need to add food into the total. You have to eat no matter what. I know it cost money, but to me it's never been part of the racing budget.
Its cost a lot more t buy a food on the road and at the track than just staying home.

I agree, and when you spend the whole day at the track everybody's eating at least 2 times, and thats with bring food from home..

Well being that I race primarily at divisional stuff anymore I am lucky to get to a race, enter, including the T&T pay for fuel and food and get away under $1200.
For the heads up car if you factor in wear and tear on the car and its "consumables" we figure it costs us between $350-400 per pass.

For a division race: Local Entry---------$180.00 2 Crew-------$100.00 Race Fuel-----$150.00 Diesel---------$ 40.00 For a Division race: Out of town Minimum 370 miles. Vegas.. Add $300.00 for Diesel and $250.00 for rooms.. So for local Divisionals about $400-$500 with no breakage and over $1000 when traveling. No wonder I didn't race much this year.. Chris..

Odd,some guy just ask me that at the track on Saturday. Anyway we have a 180 mile round trip to race at our regular track. I spend a little less than $350. but we go somewhere every weekend so the cost does increase when we travel to other tracks. It is great family time together and money well spent. With the stock purchase, yearly dues, and cart rental I spent more per year to play golf(by myself) than I spend on racing with my family. I don't play golf anymore and at the end of the year I still have my car and my BALLS. Mike
