How tough is it to replace the chrome trim on the '69/'68 oval head restraints? Any photos with the procedure or link to a site showing how to do this? Who should I buy the trim from, any Moparts supporter vendors have it? Greatly appreciate any help or direction. Thanks!

My head restraint trim is looking bad

From what I've heard, its not too hard to put on. As far as a source, I have a brand new pair of chrome headrest bands. PM me if interested. I'm not going to use them, and was going to list them here

Mike I think they are basically 3M bodyside moulding or close. A peel and stick.
I think people charge $10 or $20 for a pair, probably not too hard to find.

Oh yeah sure is a nice looking interior

Heat with a hair dryer to help loosen as you do it.
You can buy them easily on various sites BUUUUUTTTTTT not all are correct!

Look closely at your originals and you'll notice that they are flattened not rounded as commonly sold.

You need to find the vender that sells the flattened type to match your original car!!!

Maybe Krusin Moons but not 100% certain.
