With the NCMA event at Milan and a NO Cars event at Ubly this weekend the only option left is Lapeer.
So I'll be heading to Lapeer for some T&T this saturday.

Hope to get the chassis set up. If I can hook it up at Lapeer it will hook anywhere.

anyone else have the day off and what to make some passes come on out...Or even just to watch.

One more option is Grand Bend in Canada. I've been there a few times(not recently) & it was as good as Mlian. From the eastside, it's about the same distance as going to Milan. Never had a problem with the border guys in either direction.

I should know better that those two words (Consisent & Lapeer) don't go together

after six passes of starting in the left lane and making my second pass in the right lane I realized that my car was not picking up 1.5 mph on the second pass but the right lane trap was just shorter

So now I bump the timing up 2* and lose .7et and 7 mph ,put the timing back, still .7& 7mph slow, sounds like I dropped a cylinder or two
pull the plugs, they all look ok, put new ones in and walla I'm back guess after all that woodward cruising I was ready for a plug change

Had fun and din't break anything so It was a good day.

Was there last weekend, too bad I could have used some company............FWIW my car ran 1 1/2mph in the right lane as well, it was an all time best pass for me, drove the car there to boot......I am an ubly racer but the 1/4 traps are never on during race day and I can never get a print-out for a 1/4 mile pass...............you just cannot tell a non-racer what the car does in the 1/8th mile its like a foreign language that no one speaks

Did you have a quicker 60' in the right lane... I
have actually measured that place and both lanes
were within 4" as best I could measure with a 100'
tape(I use to get there early all the time and they
let in in and set up)

Yes my right lane 60' was always quicker. I'm thinking just the speed trap is shorter. placement of the start timing light is closer to the finish line for 1/4 spd..

The speed trap is the last 66' and it doesnt have
anything to do with your 60'

Mike yes I know where the speed trap is and i'm thinking the right lane trap is shorter thats why my MPH is higher.

You asked if my 60' is the right lane was quicker. Would that give me a higher MPH?

It could but usually it doesnt... but my 60' will
vary between them but I cant say that the right lane
is any quicker... but since they tear down at the
end of the day it could be anything
