Anyone heard of or using a Stamped Steel Head Gasket on the magnum engines to bump the compression ratio? I used to use them on my 383 all the time. I am thinking of having my heads milled and using a steel head gasket to bump the compression to 9.5 or more. Might go to .040 on the heads and not worry about it though. Whats everyones thoughts?

Chris

By the way this motor is going in my 74 Chrysler Conqueror Jet Boat. Stock 360 magnum with soon to be custom single plane intake

Unobtainable.

You will have to use either the MP 0.027" gasket, also available from Mr. Gasket, or have Cometic make you a pair.
