73 Roadrunner - What are these two parts - what's the function and how critical ? Also - can I have a blower motor and a three speed wiper checked for proper function before I clean up and re-install ?

aren't those your heater hose in and out? don't know those later bodies too well. to check your motors i would just 'hot wire' the motors and see what happens.

left is an OSAC valve iirc. It's inline in the vac line to dist & reduces or limit vac. It's an early 70's emission device. Bypass it. Right is a condensor I believe to help protect the reg from voltage spikes that would fry it

Arrows are kind of faint - it is a California car so I figured emissions related - can't find a picture anywhere showing this hooked up - the "condenser" (small silver capacitor looking thingy) has no wire whasoever coming out of it (missing?) just bolted to the firewall.

yes. Jump 12v positive to the blower motor hot wire and 12V negative to the case & if if turns with no grinding/excessive noise you're good.

I'd ohm it & see what you get. Other than continuity that's as far as I can go
