Now that Ray Christian is no longer among us, where have people been taking their transmissions?

Hard Shift north of New Albany? I built my last one myself, and when I need it in a hurry I know a guy that does trannys at dealerships that had done a blue million of them.
I'm sure there are a couple guys around the Columbus area that can hook you up.

I'm really not ready to have it rebuilt yet, but I called Hard Shift out of curiosity. When I asked if they had 727 experience the guy said "Yeah, we've done a couple."

...not exactly what I'm looking for experieince-wise.

I have done a boatload of Chrysler transmissions over the past 30 or so years, in the dealerships and on my own but I am in Mansfield.

I do 727 trannys(mopar only) but I live 35 minutes from cow town. Worked at Starkey's Garage(Christian's ex-partner) in the mid 70's.

There are builders in Columbus but I don't know'em.

I'd love to do it myself, but I don't really know what I'm doing and I'd want someone who knows all the tricks to be around. Maybe I'll call on one of you fellers when the time comes.
