to take the wreck to the strip for some Test-N-Tune next Saturday. Hoping it goes straight, hooks, and doesn't try to impersonate an airplane on the topend, or try and kill me.
I put the slicks on it today and had my daughter take a video of a launch out at my semi-private test facility, (440 St.SW). I left the pipes and mufflers on,(they kill 117hp) as it won't hook on the street anyway. It went straight and even spinning it still really sets you back in the seat, here's the video. Dave

Ted; I pirated it out of my old '77 Fury police package car along with the 140 speedo. Vern; the truck is pretty basic with no frills, frills are extra weight. It just has to look fairly stock and be somewhat street legal. Bumpers?????, they must have fallen off or been stolen.
Zeb; I'll be looking forward to seeing you and Amanda but don't make any special effort, it might not even get down track without incident. If it kills me the motor is yours Zeb, I EXPECT! it to go in a 65' Dart and to stay with you forever.DAD
