getting ready to change the fluid and filter in my roadrunner its a street strip car 3500 stall shift kit deep pan,was wondering what others are using or recommending??been using valvaline.

I use dexron III in mine (what it says on the dipstick) Thought about using atf+4 but synthetic atf is one of the worst things to get off the track if something happens.

I'e always heard Dexron or type F. I also hear F makes it sift alittle harder, but that might be a myth.

I bought a Hughes Tranny, when I picked it up they told me not to use Dexron, to use type F (or B&M non synthetic).

I use Dexron III also with good results.
