As we all know it's not all about the horsepower your engine produces (although it really helps), but the right combination of components that'll throw your head back and get the most from your build.

What are some tried and true combos? What stall converter/gears/carb/cam/heads/exaust diameter are you guys running in your set-up?

It has gone 6.57 in the 1/8 with a 1.38 60' on pump 93 at 3260#. I drive it everywhere with no issues what so ever.

Years ago my father and i built a 360 71 duster stock crank, mild stock head porting, 2500 stall, .474 @ 280 deg., 650 holley, performer dual plane, msd ign, 4.10 gears and it ran 11.80 with a 150 shot. That's when i learned it's all about the combo.
