Ok, I am doing a cheapo Ramcharger and want to ad the power wagon emblems onto the hood. However the emblems have broken studs. I dont want to purchase new emblems and am thinking that a lot of the new emblems have adhesions tape that seems to work well. Anyone know what this type of tape is or know of a brand that works great? Or should I try some sort of glue which I ma trying to avoid.

I'm not familiar with emblems you are going to use and what kind of back they have that will have to adhere to the tape, but that 2-sided tape will stick until you saw it off with fishing line or similar. It is sold in most auto parts stores, probably 3M brand would work. Make sure you prepare the surfaces on the emblem and the car. I usually use rubbing alcohol to clean the surfaces. When you apply the emblem to the tape and the car, hold down for a minute or so until the tape sets.

Get the 3M double sided tape with the red liner.... Don't waste time or money on the white liner stuff....

Problem solved, a friend had a set of ones that utilize screws that are in nice shape for $25.00.

I was going to say aquarium silicone - adheres to everything, lasts, clear and trim-able, and can handle vibrations.

I agree also. Have done this a number of times with good luck. If the emblem has tabs I remove them with side cutters and then use the two sided tape. They have been on one of my cars for over eight years with no problems.
