I eliminated the cigar lighter power plug by cutting the end off and splicing in a piece(actullay I used two connectors on that end) of the same size wire and hooking it up to the starter relay box under the hood on the main battery feed
I also used a common ground on the motor I did use a unused fuse connection on the back side of the fuses in the main fuse box that was not in use, air condioning one I think,to provide power to the on and off switch to the LM1. I made up a wire and slid it on the back side of the fuse box and fed it back to the LM1
