would an electronic waterpump help keep a motor cooler then a stock high volume water pump on a 440. the motor is all new has 150 miles on it with aluminum howe radiator. while driving on highway its about 180-190 then when I sit for a little it can get up to about 210.
fan works and is high cfm and the thermostat is 160. and the timing i think is 34 degrees if I remember correctly

thanks

An electric fan? If so, what brand and CFM?

The aftermarket ones don't work that well. There are some threads on here where people have adapted production car electric fans and shrouds to thier older cars.

What about just running a factory shroud and 18" fan with viscous clutch?

electic fan
Spal 16" fan 2050 cfm its a pusher cause I cant fit a puller fan. I know the puller is better just not an option. the blower belt and pulley are only 1/2" from radiator.
also fan is programed to come on at 180 degrees but I also have a override switch that I turn the fan on when I start the car as well.

thanks

...You didn't mention it had a supercharger on it. Is it a Paxton type with a belt to the side or a Roots type on top?

You've got space issues. Maybe some pictures might help

Only getting hot while not moving is lack of fan capacity.....

EDIT I would change the stat to a 180 which is a seperate (from the overheating) issue
