Go to your local autobody paint supply & ask strip caulking...

Or go to any hardware store and ask for rope caulk.

Didn't the original stuff have a string in it? I'd like to find that. Javelins used this rope caulk to seal a metal plate on the firewall and it had a cotton string in it.

rears watershield- rope caulk w/ string
fronts- use 3M adhesive in yellow color
