VS29U1 OP member V Joined: May 2008 Posts: 21 Ct.	What is the reason for grinding the throttle valve when installing this kit? Will it have an effect on kickdown?

BRawls super gas B Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,092	How did you guys do it? I took mine to a machine shop, but the instructions said it could be done on a bench grinder. No way I'd be able to get it round on the grinder.

No way I'd be able to get it round on the grinder. You are making it shorter it doesn't necessarily need to be round, make it flat and take off the burr . I do it in a lathe though .
