shoebox OP super stock S Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 808 mckinney texas	well some of you probably have seen me on here and might remember i was on a tunnel ram kick. well i had a nice weiand tunnel ram and 2 built CSU 650 double pumpers. kevin at CSU is my carb guy and he did a great job on that pair. well i always wanted a 1050 domi and enough motor to warrant it. well i got in a money pinch and the tr went away at a big loss but i just got a nice 8896-2 domi core carb for 200.00!!! heck of a deal. its going to fontana so kevin can do his magic! tell me about adapaters... 2 inch? blended? fancy? what do i need? 440 2295s 300cfm stealths m1 2 in pro parts 250 255 108 540 comp solid 11.0cr lenny 4800 stall 373 going to 4.xx gear? 74 dart sport 440 www.Csucarbs.com

You can pick up a Mopar Performance M1 4500 intake for not too much money and it will have a better chance of fitting under the hood. The M1 4150 intake has that silly Thermoquad plenum which is not going to work very well with a 4500 adapter.

dragram440 super stock D Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 1,058 bigfork mn	I am running the m1 stage VI M1 intake that is ported and the 2" mr. gasket spacer that has been blended to match my intake and it seems to work pretty good. The first race this season I tried running a 5/8 thick adapter with the dog leg bolts for extra hood clearance and it slowed my car down 4 tenths. I put the 2" back on for the last race and it picked right back up to where it was. 67' charger 499 RB 10.57 at 127

I've read too many articles And seen it personally. These engines like that "neck down" to a point 74 dart sport 440 www.Csucarbs.com

I'm not positive what did the most, was it carb size or plenum volume or both... cant remember the numbers but it was (I think) 3 mph and 1.5 tenths over a 4150 950 Holley... but it did well
