Getting my 440 back from machine shop tommorow!!! It will have the Comp Cam 268 hydraulic cam and a 3.55 rear gear. So what stall/converter was run as stock and/or should I run something a little different? Just a street cruiser not looking for quarter mile times. Just want to burn some rubber and take on some Fords and Chevys. Its going in my 69 Road Runner. Thanks for any input.

Mopar 175k would work well, although some here don't like them. I've used a few and all of them have worked well w/ mild 440's.

I had the Mopar 175k and switched to a PTC 9.5" and the difference was night and day. The PTC even lowered my cruising rpm's. A good quality converter makes all the difference.

go to www.tcsproducts.com
They've got a form that you can print off and fill out.
BE HONEST with your information, no bs HP ratings (unless you've got a dyno sheet).
Fill out form and then contact your converter supplier.
