Will a 650 eddy be sufficient? I know there's better but that's what i have. J heads for now. Air gap intake and headers. Haven't picked a cam yet.
What is the engine going in and is it a race only or street/strip or street only... 650 is small but it will give you good response

It will work, but you will probably want to upgrade it in the future for more power, it will be holding the engine back.

The carb I run on my 408 I think is too big, Its not very snappy off idle. Its a quick fuel thats in the 870-880 cfm range so Ive been told. I really want o sell this thing and buy a new Holley HP 750, or a willys dialajet 750 and see how it likes it.
The engine runs very strong and I am happy with the performance, but it just dosnt have that small carb response I think it should have.
Want to trade LOL, my 750 HP is too small. The car goes faster with a 1000HP on it.
To the OP, yes a 750 should be fine, I prefer mechanical secondaries.
