kissmyaspen OP pro stock Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 1,413 Newark,Ohio	Gonna be a busy next couple days at the shop.. Have to fix brakes on a 70 cuda.. Couple little things on a 56 dodge.. Starting problem on a 72 duster.. Heads on a 79 pickup.. And that just customer cars.. Changing motors in the satellite.. Need to fix exhaust leak on the 73 dart sport.. And fix battery hold down in the 73 duster..then today we get a call for a fuel problem on a 69 fury, and he would like to have it for the nats too

70Cuda383 Too Many Posts Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 21,345 Marysville, O-H-I-O	I'm in! the Dakota R/T club is also having their annual meet at the same time/place, so there's gonna be a crap load of trucks there, and a few guys I know are bringing some FAST trucks! one has a race magnum block, W9 heads, and completely custom back half on his truck. another guy is putting out 600+ to the wheels and running 10s with a T-56 gearbox. Me however...I'm just going to have fun, no racing for me. but I will be on the Mopar Muscle dyno challenge--hey, somebodies gotta come in last! Does anyone know if the track is open for TnT on Thursday at all? Photobucket sucks

Not damp,,,soggy! swap area is the worse with sloppy mud, race pit isn't bad from what I saw, had to deal with on and off rain most of the day but I did get 1 pass in and left before the last one which was delayed, will give it heck in the morning. I thought I could save a couple of hundred and get to see the Nats also. However I wanted to take my golf cart because I hurt my back and was not taking my hot rod. I was concerned about having the correct insurance proof. So I called and talked to a lady who said I could not bring my golf cart inside unless I was bring my race car. I explained about my back and that I could not walk all over that area. She said I could rent a cart for $187 for 2 days but the person putting on the show did not want spectators bringing golf carts onto the premises. And I said but Im buying parts and she said sorry thats the way it is. I said well do you want the vendors to get my business or the golf rental people. Sorry thats the way it is she said. Well So myself and 2 buddys dicided we would save our money go to the Bowling Green mopar show. Buy from Racing junk or ebay. well 7330593-hemibuild.jpg (141 downloads)

THE GLASS MAN super stock T Joined: Jun 2009 Posts: 1,186 OHIO	Swap meet was a bit muddy in 3 or 4 entrances and the track was having gravel hauled in to address the problem. Crowd on Friday was really good and the track was being swept for water. Car show had some really nice cars and trucks too.This is the first year since 1986 that I didn't race and or set up as a vendor. I seen the event from a different aspect, a spectator, and was pleased. Because of having 3 racers down and moving my entire operation, I became a spectator for the weekend, and of course I spread the word of the race that I put on , "The Spring Nostalgia Nationals", to all my Mopar brothers and sisters.
