Is there any easy way to remove the ignition switch lock cylinder without having to take the whole column apart (lock plate, bearing)

Thank you for the photos I replaced the key cylinder I only had to Remove steering wheel Disconnect turn signal harness connector pull turn signal switch up and let it hang remove turn signal housing let it hang remove plate to access hole to release key cylinder

That photo is actually Gary's (Challenger1) & he's commented about it before, the plate just happened to fit....
It's a broken Mark Williams floater housing mount that I used, anything would work with 2 holes in it to mount the coluum to.
Glad to hear you got yours replaced 1932 Chryler.
