Same fan stick or auto , same fan used on all big blocks with max cooling. Purpose of the fan ... to keep the engine cool by helping to pull air thru the radiator at low speeds.

If you have your broadcast sheet you can look at the numbers on it but I think those a 99% sure thing. Sounds like a cool car. Hope you share some pictures when you have it done.
