Could anybody help me out with this? I am replacing the floor pan and 4 -speed hump in my 70 Duster.I removed the old hump and had to repair the Torsion Bar-Crossmember where the shifter goes.Apparently some Do-Do went bezerk with a sawzall
.I guessed at the rearward flange on the mount is supposed to be continous as the front is,but part of me thinks it should be notched a little to facillitate shifter clearance.The area in question is indicated by the Red arrow between the Red marks.Can anybody verify this that has a Duster also????????I would think all Duster,s 70 through 76 should be the same.Thanks...Jeff
