yea you're runnin out of space.

what did you have to do to use the GM quick release on the chrysler steering shaft? didn't want to start filing till i knew if i was doing the right thing. don't want to hack something up if it won't work than not be able to return it cause i hacked it.

but you can only race one at a time.

That's what happens when you park a male barracuda that close to a female barracuda. Should of had one of them fixed.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Well Al I guess you officially have a school of fish in my book

Or a fish fetish

Was wondering when someone was going to scoop that piece up. Nice to see it's in good company

My vote is a turbo SB street terror

I think a good 10.50 street strip bracket car for Steven to race. Sort of like my car, but a little faster. Good for Pro, Super pro, super street, open comp, does PSCA have a 10.50 index class?

James to answer your question the one I used simply bolted roight on the stock column.

As for the car. Since it is a numbers matching Formula S 383 4 Spd car I think we will not get to crazy or carried away. Although it already has some modifications that require some work to undo if it is to be restored someday. Thinking a Pro Touring kinda set up sounds fun though. Nothing to crazy.

Need to hurry up and build the pool in the backyard.. (1) Kathy would be happy (2) you can put the cars in there and make it an aquarium (3) you'll then have garage space to buy my two cars..

Its a win-win-win proposition..

have you ever considered having one of them spayed or neutered?

another idea would be adoption, i'll drive to CA to pick them up and make sure they're well fed and loved

Hmmmmmmmm, ya got two race cars and two drivers, and a third would be a lot more work. Maybe a nice 383 4 speed streeter? A/c would be nice for summer cruises! I can see it now, lowered, chrome 18 inch five spoke rims, 40 or 45 profile tires as wide as you can fit, four wheel discs, stereo , all else factory restored save exhaust and motor?

I think you need a nice 70' (in purple) to balance that collection of sweet Barracudas.

I know just where you can find a really nice one......already finished.

I would take that thing and put an all SRT8 running gear in it (motor, 6-spd, BREMBO brakes, interior, viper wheels) and go have some fun! That's cool, Al.....

I say you get to working on that Sweptline truck instead. I will happily trade you a complete parts truck for that red Barracuda.

Al, build that 400 block into a 513 low deck, have some 10" - 12" wide
steelies made for the back w/3.25/50x15 ET Streets & 7's for the front.
Put the 383-S badges on the fiberglass hood. Build the 513 w/ ported Eddy or indy heads & dual plane intake, paint it all turquoise & stick
the 383 air cleaner on it. Make a real sleeper that'll run mid 10's.
Ernie built a 513 w/ mild hyd roller & non ported Eddy RPM's & dual plane that made 690 torque & big hp, too.
Sure glad it went to a good home... here's a pic of a similar one I
saw on C List. Side pipes are funky, but the American mags look cool.

those pipes look like AAR pipes..or an attempt to mimick them...?
Dad installed a factory set of AAR exaust pipes/side exit on my moms sport fury suburban with the 440 back in 73
but i digress.
