On a 318 Cuda made in 3/73 was the crank cast or forged steel? Are they both internally balanced? Should the torque converter have weights on it when viewing it from the inspection plate if I turn the motor over with a wrench?

318 was cast crank , at least 70 up , not sure about truck motors of certain years , they are all internal balanced so you shouldn't find weights on the converter or a weighted dampner.
