I would like to replace my glovebox latch assembly, particulary the part where the key goes in. However, I would want this to be keyed properly so my glovebox doesn't have a seperate key.

Does anybody sell a complete lock kit with the door/trunk/ing/glove locks that match? If not, can you buy the keyed portion of the glovebox and have a locksmith re-key it? Is this something any of you guys have had done?

I have seen the new latch assemblies but it doesn't have the keyed part so that won't help me :-(

My issue is I need to replace all my lock cylinders as they don't match and they are all beat to hell. I can find a "complete" kit but it doesn't have the glove lock so that would be a mismatch.

The car is a 1973 Charger. Any ideas on what I can do to get these all swapped out and have them match like they should?

When I got my 57 it only had one key that fit the ign and doors.Took the trunk lock to my local lock smith and he made a key for the trunk glove box.Charged me around 25 bucks for 3 keys for the tunkk glove box and made two for the ign doors.Any good lock smith can key the cylinders.Rocky

Whatever you do, don't buy from Jesser Key.
