Who makes a fibergalss hood with a taller than stock height six pack scoop for a '68 or ''69 b-body? I think a stock six pack scoop is about 3" tall. I have a six pack hood on my '68 Road Runner that is 4 1/2" tall. I don't where it came from. It has been on the car a long time and is getting pretty beat up. It is a bolt on hood not a pin on too. I'd like to buy another one. I don't see anybody on the web that shows a 4 1/2". Any help?

Thanks for the reply Rick. I called VFN. They said they have a 4 1/2 in tall 6 pack scoop, but their mold for complete the 6 pack hood is the stock 3 inch height.

Anybody know of anyine else?

Their bond-on fiberglass scoop listed as 4.5" tall, is cheap (I think $60), but the glass is thin and there was a big dip on one side of the scoop I got. Not to mention the base is totally flat (maybe for a Plymouth hood?), but not even close to fitting a Dodge Coronet hood.

Try www.glasstek.com. Don't know how good they are.

I called unlimited fiberglass products this morning. up22.com. They show a bolt-on "stock configruation" six pack hood on their site. They said it actually measures 4 1/2 inches tall rather than the stock 3 inch. So I have one of those on the way
