i have a 92 dodge shorty van with a magnum v6 im roughly sure we can nestle it in my brothers 88 dakota which has a blown up la based v6 i also have a guy in our club who can make it work turn key with the donor vans harness but just for the sake of frustration down the road couldnt we just swap intakes


67 charger fastback 318 stock 67 belvedere II 4dr soft top built 318 68 newport 2dr hard top 318 84 b150 440/727 84 d150 short wheel step side 4x4 lifted 87 omnitruck (you just have to see it ) new addition 63 dart wagon !!!

Why would you want to put a 2bbl cab on a Magnum V6? Suppose it would be easier....might also need to swap the dist, and I believe the exhaust manifolds dump in a different location as well.

Let us know how it works out, I have a 90 V6 Dakota that is getting tired, and have thought about stepping up to a Magnum instead of rebuilding the LA motor, but mine has throttle body injection. Gene

Doesn't the older V6 have angled intake bolts and the newer on have straight intake bolts? Just like the difference between the LAs and the Magnums in V8?

i know the v8 is like that but idk about the v6 im guessing maybe having the harness made to work in his truck would be easiest any ways but yes i will keep u guys up on how it comes out and even detail about how he wired it in
