Hi, this concerns the oiling, I have the pro-comp adj rockers.. now the shafts oil like the stockers.. the push rods also have oiling holes.. so question is should i use the the push rods with the oiling holes or not.. the arms do have holes in the to oil the ball as well.

any way thats how they were removed.. I am installing a new set of stock rockers as with new shaft with push rods with the oiling holes.. I am currious is the previous set up was right..

Thanks

I run my pro-comp rockers with push rods that have oiling holes in them. My lifters also are the type to send oil up. Not all lifters will send oil up through the push rods. But anyway my rockers get oil from both push rods and rocker tube. Been a couple of years and working great so far.

If your lifters do not have the passage in the plunger to feed the hollow push rods they will not feed oil to the top anyway and the top end will oil as per normal. You sure don't need nor want both oiling.

Banana groove shafts will make the rockers last a long time

IMO you are 'bleeding' off a lot of unnecessary oil to the top of the engine. Could actually effect the oil pressure somewhat. Shaft oiling works well, no need for the through push rod oiling. A lot restrict oil to the top and here you are increasing it.
