Currently reupholstering my back seat out of a 70 b body. The seat has burlap covering the springs with wire threaded through the burlap. The wire in the upright section of the rear seat was in good shape and could be reused. Unfortunately the wires in the bottom part of the seat are rusty and crack when I try to bend it. It needs to be bent to capture the twine or twisted paper pieces at the ends.

Does anyone know where to get similar wire? It's about .04 diameter but it seems like spring steel? It doesn't take a bend easily. I have some galvanized bailing wire but I think it's too soft. You can see the wires in the pics below. I was thinking something like TIG welding rod may work but not sure it would be stiff enough or long enough. Each straight length is about 5ft and I think I need 19 of them.

Just found grainger and McMast Carr sell rolls of music wire. Think this may be what I need.
