Post your 60s Mopar Gasser pics. I'm hoping to acquire a 64 Plymouth Fury 4dr and plan to make it a gasser. What should I look for as far as bad areas?
Also what axle did you use for the front? Thanks

Not every Gasser had a straight axle. A lot of the boys back then would crank the hell out of the 2 3/4 inch adjustment adjustment bolts for the torsion bars and go gasser racing. Save your money on the pruchase of the axle and get the thing running first , and do the cranking on the bars. It will go high and ride rough like an axle car.

I now but if I build a gasser it will have a straight axle. Guys also use to make spacers to drop the whole susp assem to raise the front. I plan to do it right not cheap and ruin tires. It'll be street driven also

RON,,, the copper 64 polara,,,u showed,, was in the back round of a 65 coronet gasser,,,white with red ram charger stripes that a guy i know here in PA just bought off e bay,,,,have you ever seen the 65 coronet??? looks clean,,,,only a 361 is said to me a 2 owner car,, the little old lady story,,but for some reason it doesnt have a black plate,,,, the cornet is not here yet,,,,, the copper polara has a hemi and is said to be for sale also 50 G

Just remember, NHRA and IHRA have safety rules. 24" from the ground to the center of the crank pully.

Here is my 1965 HEMI Valiant, not quite a Gasser but it has that feel...no straight just raised the front end about 2 1/2 inches by cranking on the torsion bars...

Harry, look at the above pictures closely, do you see any 4 door cars? For every dollar you put in the 4 door car you will lose 75 cents of that in resale.
