I recently acquired a complete Holley Commander 950 Pro Multi-Port EFI system. Has anyone ever used one or have any experience with them? Not looking for install questions/answers, just general performance info/comments.

It will be going on my BB 383 with Edelbrock aluminum intake.

Any info would be much appreciated

Thanks, Mike

To sum them up,from reports I've read -
The TB isn't too bad, the ECU is the poor performer.

EDIT -
Saw you said multi-port, so scratch the part about the TB, depending on teh vintage of the ECU it may still be a valid assessment.

Thanks for the info...... the kit is from around 2006. Do you know if by then the ECU had been upgraded or the bugs worked out of it?

I have a C950 on my Cuda. It works fine but I did have to have an ECU replaced early on under warranty. I am constantly playing with the setting to make the drivablity better. Don't get me wrong compared to a carb it runs great, but each time I drive a late model car with standard shift and a V8 I start working to make the Cuda better. As with any EFI wire the power and ground dirrectly to the battery and connect the body, engine and ECU all together with ground wires. PM me if you have any specific questions.
